John Rahim

I started taking photographs in the early 80s, inspired by the work of photo journalist greats such as Robert Capa, Henri Cartier Bresson, Richard Avedon and Snowdon. Instead of pursuing a career in photography I decided to work in the music industry, which was followed by digital media before setting up as a professional photographer in the early part of this decade.

My aim is simple; to produce elegant and meaningful photographs and whether I cover event, corporate or PR assignments I ensure that all jobs are done to the highest of standards. I have studied photography and studio lighting at London College of Communications, a faculty of London University of the Arts. I am also a full time member, and hold accreditation’s from the MPA, BIPP and the NUJ.

Clients who I have worked for in the past include The Royal Bank of Scotland Group (RBS/Nat West), Rotary Watches, The Olympic Committee, BiSL (Business in Sport & Leisure), London Council, The Conservative Party, Gibson Guitars, Sony Pictures, HM Crown Prosecution Service, Society of Operational Engineers, The Monitor Group and Panasonic.

My rates start at £65/Hour (minimum booking 3 hours), or £500 day for 7.5 hours coverage.  This includes travel within the M25, post production on the images, work delivered on a DVD within 24 hours and a world-wide non exclusive license for all the images provided.  All prices exclude VAT.
